life was good in deerclan. there was only one problem though — it wasn't active. this was something the old cat was willing to change. he stood up, misplaced jaw hanging as he gave everyone a crooked grin.

"hey, y'all!" he called. yeah, he was new to the clan. but he was wise and pretty damn cool. he wasn't that bad at fighting, too. mountainsound was determined to prove himself in deerclan, but not yet.

"i'm mountainsound! how are y' guys?" one might say he was crazy. he responded with 'i lived in a cave m' whole life'. there was no arguing with that.
